Teesside Channel 6 Launched.

Teesside Channel 6 has launched online after several delays.
The channel launched at 6pm (GMT) today starting off with an hour of music from the 6OD Music archives.
TS6 is currently available online through the channel's homepage, but tests are on-going with game consoles such as the XBox 360 and PS3 to allow viewers to watch on their television set.
Plans are still in order to broadcast TS6 on other platforms such as cable and terrestrial in the near future.
Test Transmissions Commence

Teesside Channel 6 has begun its online test transmissions of its live channel at the weekend.
Engineers are testing new software that will allow viewers to interact with the channel and programmes during live and recorded broadcasts.
Testing is also underway to allow viewers to watch TS6 using game consoles such as PS3, Xbox and Xbox 360.
TS6 will launch online while discussions are underway to determine which platform the channel will broadcast on in the Tees Valley region.
